Restaurants:

Red Therapy Group’s favorite restaurants in downtown Franklin (all within walking distance from the office):

Frothy Monkey - 5th Ave (across the parking lot behind the building where the office is) - Great coffee and food!

Mellow Mushroom - Main Street on the circle - Good pizza and salad for lunch.

Culaccino - Main Street and 1st Ave - New Italian spot with a great patio.

Gray’s On Main - Main Street - good atmosphere, good cocktails, live music on some nights.

Triple Crown Bakery - 4th Ave - Nostalgic tea room with great pastries, decor, and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Tazikis - Main Street - quick Mediterranean (great for lunch).

Franklin Mercantile - 4th Ave - Good for lunch, fresh salads and sandwiches.

Cork & Cow - Right below the office (same building) - Great for dinner, upscale.

55 South - Right next to Cork & Cow - Great food and service, not as fancy as Cork & Cow.

Merridee’s - Downstairs - Good for coffee, breakfast, pastries.

Shopping:

Main Street has a wide array of great shops to explore during your breaks. Don’t forget to look down the side streets - there are many hidden gems.

A short drive away, you’ll find The Factory with more great restaurants and shopping (mostly indoors). If you’re a donut connoisseur, you must try Five Daughters!

Music:

Kimbros is walking distance from our office (music venue with a fun songwriters night on Tuesdays).

Of course, there are many great venues in downtown Nashville. We highly recommend shows at the Ryman Auditorium. You can check here for the shows that will be happening when you’re in town. You can read more about the music scene in Nashville on the “Explore Nashville” page.

Other Activities:

If you have time, you need to check out Radnor Lake. It’s a gorgeous spot to hike or take a walk around the perimeter of the lake. So much wildlife! Go in the evening to avoid the crowds.

Another great activity is to drive the Natchez Trace (especially in the Fall). It’s gorgeous!

Even if you don’t do an intensive, you have to come to Franklin! It’s the best.
